President Abraham Lincoln

You can fool all the people some of the time, and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time.

The greatest Republican president in history was a brilliant man but with this statement, Abe for sure was not aware of how cleverly the right wing Koch brothers Republican politicians would be fooling the American voters from about 1980 to the present time. When will patriotic Republican voters finally wake up?

We the people are the rightful masters of both Congress and the courts, not to overthrow the Constitution but to overthrow the men who pervert the Constitution.

I wonder if in the upcoming elections the "patriotic Republican voters" will vote the straight ticket for the Republican Koch brothers politicians who have such a hatred of the politics and ideas and dreams of our 1776 Founders for the future of America. Or will they vote for whoever opposes these nut incumbents? Remember the right wing Republicans destroyed the League of Nations in the 1920s, thereby helping to bring on the second world war. Are they are now trying to destroy the United Nations that was set up by FDR and Winston Churchill? As a registered Republican for more than 70 years, I will vote for anyone but a Koch brothers-supported politician regardless of their party affiliation.

A house divided against itself cannot stand.

Surely all thinking voters of any party have to be well aware that for the past four decades since the Koch brothers took control of the Republican party, the Koch brothers-supported Republican politicians in the House and Senate will not negotiate in good faith, they will not adhere to normal legislative procedures of past generations, they will always commence political negotiations with people who have a different view on any subject in a combative tone. If all politicians in a meeting do not think just as the new right wing Republicans do, they simply walk out or shut down the government. Of course this is all done per the Koch brothers' message from their K Street headquarters.
 

President Theodore Roosevelt

Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt served first as a vice president and then president (1901 to 1909). Without a doubt, "Teddy" was second only to the Founder of the Republican Party, Abraham Lincoln, as one of the greatest Republican presidents.

History has proven there has never been a truly good Republican president since Teddy Roosevelt. Teddy was the president who crushed the corrupt corporations of America in the years 1901 to 1909. He was the hero of the common hard-working people of America. He was also the hero of my grandfather, my parents and all of my uncles.

It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly; who errs, who comes short again and again, because there is no effort without error and shortcoming; but who does actually strive to do the deeds; who knows great enthusiasms, the great devotions; who spends himself in a worthy cause; who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement, and who at the worst, if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly, so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat.

Can you imagine any single one of the current right wing Senate or House Republican politicians even thinking about a "working man or woman"? The current Republican Senate and House politicians are now "owned and directed" by the anti-American billionaire Koch brothers. These current Republican politicians only think about how to vote to make sure their SEAT is bought and paid for again and again by the billionaire Koch brothers in the next election. These politicians do not dare to vote to the tune of the very best president of the last century, President Teddy Roosevelt. Too bad most American voters know nothing about history.

In any moment of decision, the best thing you can do is the right thing, the next best thing is the wrong thing, and the worst thing you can do is nothing.

The current Republican right wing Koch brothers-funded politicians do as directed and just shut down the government or do nothing. PERIOD. Their primary goal is to get Koch Brother Funds to win the next election.

A vote is like a rifle; its usefulness depends upon the character of the user.

OK, Republican straight ticket voters. Do you realize that you’re voting for politicians who want to have no real government and who vote to shut down the government? Who vote to keep the USA sliding toward the status of a third world nation whereby the top few percent of American billionaires purchase the politicians’ seats in Congress and control the wealth of the nation, while we common folks wear the military uniforms, fight the wars and work hard and struggle to take care of our children and grandchildren?
 

Franklin Delano Roosevelt

Franklin Delano Roosevelt, FDR, 32nd president of the United States was the only president ever elected to serve four straight terms (1933 to 1945). He is regarded as one of the three greatest presidents in the history of the United States. He led the nation through the depression years (1933-38) and then along with Winston Churchill and General Marshall led the allies to victory over Germany and Japan. He was the nephew of the great Republican president Theodore Roosevelt.

I am neither bitter nor cynical but I do wish there was less immaturity in political thinking.
 

Barry Goldwater

Barry Goldwater was five-term United States Senator from Arizona (1953–65, 1969–87) and the Republican Party’s nominee for president in the 1964 election. An articulate and charismatic figure during the first half of the 1960s, he was known as "Mr. Conservative".

Goldwater is most often credited for sparking the resurgence of the American conservative political movement in the 1960s. He also had a substantial impact on the libertarian movement.

On religious issues there can be little or no compromise. There is no position on which people are so immovable as their religious beliefs. There is no more powerful ally one can claim in a debate than Jesus Christ, or God, or Allah, or whatever one calls this Supreme Being. And I am even angrier as a legislator who must endure the threats of every religious group who thinks it has some God-granted right to control my vote on every roll call in the Senate. I am warning them today: I will fight them every step of the way if they try to dictate their moral convictions to all Americans in the name of "conservatism."
